Wild Lens (she/her) used to be a counsellor and therapist, and enjoyed running until she became disabled with Long Covid in 2020. Not content with the way her relationship with her body was changing she began writing and taking photographs, documenting both the struggle of living with disability and her determination to find the beauty in a body she didn’t recognise.
Wild Lens writes about the ways disability impacts her sexuality and her sense of self. She is an autistic ex-evangelical, musician and creator and misses long walks in the woods. When she is not resting in bed you can find her curled up in the sunshine with a good book.
